Add a pop of boho charm to your desk or table with a handmade mug rug. No two are exactly alike, each featuring an assortment of colours tediously woven into uniquely intricate patterns. Densely-woven cotton makes them washable and ideal for protecting your surfaces. Measuring approximately 4 inches in diameter, choose a tiny work of art that fits perfectly under any glass, mug, or cup.
Note: Because no two mug rugs are exactly the same, we can usually only estimate the final fibre content.

We primarily use 100% cotton yarn to craft our mug rugs, though some designs include accents using other yarn types. Many mug rugs may contain a small amount (usually less than 1-5%) of bamboo, linen, hemp, polyester, nylon, acrylic, or other synthetic materials.
To add character and reduce waste, we like to utilize yarn scraps, specialty yarns, mill-ends, or second-hand materials. Information about the exact fibre content of second-hand or mill-end yarn is not always available or reliable, so we cannot guarantee the final content unless it is a custom order crafted with that in mind.
Backing methods vary by design. When backed with fabric, materials usually contain cotton and/or linen.
Yarn ends may be secured with adhesive and/or remnants of various fabric types where appropriate.
Fringe groups may or may not be knotted, but the weave structure is always secured to not slip at the ends. Some designs are hemmed at either end or have fringes hidden within the mug rug.
With proper handling, our mug rugs are washable and should survive plenty of use.
