Hello!
Queering the Burbs started as an inside joke and a bit of messing around with DIY projects. It has since become a full-on operation (albeit a small one), complete with regular inventory and the occasional unhinged product drop to keep things interesting.
We like to keep things primarily handmade and work in small batches to preserve the magic of making - think of it as putting our personal stamp on every piece we create.

Creative Lead / Resident Craft Goblin
The creative brains behind many of our works is Allyx - a tool-owning, supply-hoarding art grad who loves dabbling in new mediums, pushing boundaries, and exploring new ideas. Whether we need to weave mug rugs, press prints, build market displays, or set up a website... Allyx either is or owns the glue to pull the project together.

Hype-girl with a Hook / Personified Customer Service Voice
Lauren is basically the golden retriever of girlies - always full of enthusiasm, creating books and yarn goodies, and ready to yap your ear off. She keeps everything moving (often literally - she's also our one-woman delivery service) and wears more hats than any human can conceivably balance.
