Chicken or the Egg Print

We offer our prints on different paper sizes, trimmed down to common frame dimensions and/or matted for more convenient framing. 

Please note that the artwork is printed from the same plate and is therefore the same dimensions regardless of paper size selection. Smaller sizes have less of a border around the artwork to fit into smaller frames. 

Note: "matted" sizes refer to the outer dimensions (i.e. size of frame it fits into)

These pieces are made using traditional printmaking techniques. After carving the design into one or more blocks/plates, each individual print requires manual inking and pressing by hand! 

Because of the process, every print comes out slightly different - you will not receive the exact print pictured. Please note that colours may not perfectly match what you see on your display because of device and lighting specific variations. 

Imperfections are part of the charm with these prints. If you like an especially distressed or bleedy look, let us know and we can check if we have stock to match your preferences!
